THANKSGIVING

Melissa's family came Thanksgiving morning.  We busily finished the food preparations and then went out into the snow for some fun...and to build up an appetite! Our house is up on a hill...so we can walk around to the back of the house and jump on a tube...that is if our boot doesn't need fixin'!
The kids were all smiles!! Eliza was game!... right along with the boys! Miriam wanted to ride with Mom. Grandma and Eliza had a hard time staying on the tube......at the bottom of the hill, we hit a jump which threw Carol's bones out of alignment trying to save us from falling...she won't be doing doubles anymore!
After fun in the snow, we had a delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings! Missions change us in unexpected ways!  Chuck helps in the kitchen, vacuums, sweeps, and even cleans toilets!

We had such a great Thanksgiving visit!...we even went for a hike, cut down a tree, and put it up in the living room...all ready for an old fashioned Christmas. For the first time in our married life, all the gifts were mailed before Thanksgiving.  December will be full of Christmas music, lights, a fresh cut tree, a homemade pine cone wreath, home baked bread to give away and jigsaw puzzles!...and NO stress! We took a picture right before Melissa's family left...sad that they had to go...They used the picture on their Christmas card!
